The European spirit producers association, spiritsEUROPE, is calling on both the US and the EU to resolve their escalating trade war over subsidies to domestic aircraft industries, after the Trump administration announced it would be imposing a 25% tariff rate on a number of European spirits from October 18, following a World Trade Organisation (WTO) ruling.
