House Democrats on Thursday (Oct. 17) blasted the Trump administration’s decision to move the Economic Research Service (ERS) and National Institute for Food and Agriculture (NIFA) from Washington, D.C., to the Kansas City region, citing statistics that find the relocation has left two research agencies far short of staff and unable to finalize key reports or fund research grants.
