The American Farm Bureau Federation’s (AFBF) annual survey found the average cost of Thanksgiving dinner items is nearly unchanged from last year. Meanwhile, an official with the group Alliance for a Stronger FDA detailed the role agency workers play in keeping Thanksgiving foods safe and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported illnesses linked to the ongoing outbreak of E. coli in romaine lettuce are rising.
