The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) are warning about the risks of listeria cytogenes infection when feeding people in hospitals, nursing homes and belonging to vulnerable groups, such as young children or pregnant women, with ready-to-eat (RTE) products.
