USDA’s WASDE report did not contain many large shifts in US ag exports due to the Phase One trade agreement with China. Meanwhile, China urged other World Trade Organization (WTO) members to resist new trade restrictions in response to the coronavirus and the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) slammed the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) over an analysis of gene editing research.
